Alpha X is extremely proud to announce the first launch project - Secured Crypto Arbitrage (SCA)!

SCA is an artificially intelligence-driven investment super bot, wherein the economic activities are performed by Autonomous Economic Agents (AEAs). This decentralised investment service bot automatically executes investment strategies where it simultaneously buys and sells assets in different exchanges to take advantage of a price difference and generate high-yield profit.

### Why arbitrage?

Crypto markets are not regulated and therefore with the exception of stablecoins, there is no standard price for any particular coin or token. This is one of the primary reasons why the prices of different crypto can vary widely.

With regard to this, some crypto exchanges are bigger than others, with higher trading volume. Thus the supply and demand on one exchange could be quite different from another, affecting the price.

In addition to the massive potential for high-yield profit, arbitrage trading is also highly encouraged across all financial sectors. It contributes to market efficiency and furthermore, arbitrage trades also serve a useful purpose by acting as intermediaries, providing liquidity in different markets.

### Types of arbitrage executed by SCA

#### Spatial arbitrage

Spatial arbitrage is the simplest form of crypto arbitrage and involves trading virtual currencies across two different exchange platforms. It’s a straightforward way to make money by buying crypto where it’s cheap, and selling it elsewhere where it’s more expensive.

#### Triangular arbitrage

Triangular arbitrage is where investor starts with one cryptocurrency and then trades it for another cryptocurrency on that same exchange — one which is undervalued relative to the first crypto. The investor would then trade that second cryptocurrency for a third cryptocurrency which is relatively overvalued when compared with the first. Finally, the investor would trade that third cryptocurrency for the first crypto, completing the circuit potentially with some profit.
